Biography
Tiffany Herder is a PhD student in the Learning Sciences area. Prior to attending UW Madison, she worked in online learning and has extensive experience collaborating with faculty and cross-functional staff to create high quality, outcomes-driven learning experiences. Through her work, Tiffany is committed to removing barriers to learning and designing interactive, engaging, and fun learning experiences aligned with purposeful, relevant outcomes. Tiffany works with Martina Rau in the Learning Representations and Technology Lab and Gear Learning. She is also an Interdisciplinary Training Program Fellow. Her research interests focus on visual representations and perceptual fluency in video games and the affordances of game-based learning experiences.
