Biography

Youmi Suk is a Ph.D. Student in Quantitative Methods in Educational Psychology. She is studying educational statistics under Dr. Jee-Seon Kim. She is currently working as a lecturer in ED PSY 763: Regression Models in Education. Previously, she received a B.S. in Earth Science Education in 2014 and an M.A. in Educational Measurement and Evaluation in 2016, both from Seoul National University, South Korea. Also, she received an M.S. in Statistics at UW-Madison.

Youmi’s research centers on multilevel modeling and causal inference. Also, she is interested in group-score assessment and analyzing timing and process data. More generally, she enjoys applying and connecting quantitative models to real-life situations to address practical and important problems in the educational, social, and behavioral sciences.
